Dozier Mitchell Williams, 88, of Columbus, GA died Monday, February 5, 2018 at his home.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Parkhill Cemetery 4161 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. David Rathel officiating according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Williams was born January 25, 1930 in Sylacauga, AL son of the late E.C. Williams and Lela Williams. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and was the Owner of Williams Brothers Roofing. Mr. Williams was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Naomi Henry Williams.
Survivors include his sons, George M. Williams (Laura), Tony Michael Williams (Robin), Randal Jay Williams (Sonya Davis) and Dozier Mitchell Williams, II (Renee), grandchildren, Michelle Barrentine, Jason Williams (Ashley), Gil Williams, Ashley McGreevey (Mike), Lauren Eldridge (James), Kristen Boutwell (Kyle), Shelby Williams, Cash Davis and Tanner Davis, 9 great grandchildren, and special nephews, Melvin Caldwell (Sylvia) and Jim Caldwell (Nancy).
