Doyle F. Gaylor, Sr., 77, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 19, 2013 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel. A private interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 18, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Gaylor was born July 8, 1936 in Habersham County, TN, son of the late George Gaylor and Nannie Bolton Gaylor. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He was the owner of Custom Screen Printing.
Mr. Gaylor loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Frances Donahoo Gaylor of Columbus, GA; daughter Terri Gaylor Sizemore (Sammy) of Box Springs, GA; son Doyle Gaylor, Jr. of Mexico Beach, FL; grandchildren, Andrea Gaylor White (Greg) of Ft. Lewis, WA, Matthew S. Sizemore and William S. Sizemore both of Box Springs, GA; sisters, Dolly Goins of Lafollette, TN, Georgia Lee Owens of Cincinnatti, OH and Jean Cox (Leonard) of Knoxville,TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted but those who wish may make memorial donations to Columbus Hospice House, 7020 Moon Road, Columbus, GA 31909.
