Doye Hobbs Gresham, 92, of Columbus, GA, died Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Magnolia Manor.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, December 8, 2017 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. John Burnett officiating. A Private Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gresham was born October 12, 1925 in Geneva, AL, daughter of the late Burl J. Hobbs and Irena Austin Hobbs. She was a member of Hilton Terrace Baptist Church and the T.E.L. Sunday School Class. Mrs. Gresham was a homemaker.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Gresham; son, Lee Gresham; daughter, Dennise Gresham; sister, Jean Lofton and brothers, Ronald "Buck" Hobbs, Jack Hobbs and Jimmy Hobbs.
Survivors include her three sisters-in-law, Helen Hobbs and her daughter Sharon Duncan, Shirley Hobbs and Eunice Hobbs all of Hartford, AL, friend, Gail Staley of Columbus, GA and several nieces and nephews.
