Doyal Haisten Bonner, 83, of Phenix City, AL died Friday, November 21, 2014 at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL. The family will receive friends Monday, November 24, 2014 from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA. 31907.
Mr. Bonner was born April 15, 1931 in Dothan, AL, son of the late A. C. Bonner and Mattie Bonner. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Camp Concrete Industries from 1955 - 1984. He later worked for Wilbert Vault Company from 1984 to 1997, where he retired as a foreman.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Eloise Bonner, daughter, Ann Wynn, a sister, a brother and grandchild, Kellie Graves.
Survivors include his wife, Vicky Bonner of Phenix City, AL; daughters, Margaret Graves (Spencer) of Tampa, FL and Jane Childres (Bobby) of Phenix City, AL; son, Bobby Doyle Bonner (April) of Tampa, FL; stepson, Charles Thornton (Tricia) of Roebuck, SC, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
