Mr. Douglas "Doug" Andrew Tyler, 72, of Columbus, GA, died Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital.
A Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 02, 2020 at Parkhill Cemetery with Rev. Adam Sizemore officiating according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA. 31907. Family will receive friends following the graveside service at the cemetery.
Doug was born September 19, 1947 in Buena Vista GA to the late Andrew Tyler and Annie Louise Weaver Tyler. He worked for over 20 years at the Ammunition Supply Point at Ft. Benning, GA. He loved to watch movies, read Syfy books, collect comic books and loved hot rod toy cars. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Avis King.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Barbara Tyler of Columbus, GA, son, David Turvin (Tiffany) of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Denise, Kaylyn, Stone, Hansen, great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Braylen, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
