Dorothy Lou Floyd Morgan, 80, of Columbus, GA died Monday, January 1, 2018 at Orchard View Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Adrian Chester officiating. Interment will be held at Green Acres Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Morgan was born August 7, 1937 in Salem, AL daughter of the late Robert Floyd and Mary Lou Davis Stanford. She worked in Textile Manufacturing.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Morgan.
Survivors include her children, Darrell "Tony" Floyd (Sherrel) of Columbus, GA, Ricky Floyd of Macon, GA, Jacqueline "Pebbles" Morgan Davis (Derrick) of Columbus, GA, Cassandra "Boat" Morgan (Cynthia) of Columbus, GA, Robert "Bob" Morgan, Jr. (Angela) of Phenix City, AL, Precious Morgan Aeby (John) of Charlotte, NC and Timothy "Tim" Morgan of Atlanta, GA, sister, Mary Helen Mims of Capitol Heights, MD, brothers, Robert Floyd of Dayton, OH, Annie Pearl Lowman ("Hardy" Hartis) of Huntsville, AL and John Stanford (Mae) of Cincinnati, OH, grandchildren, Raphael Morgan (Candice) of Columbus, GA, Christopher Neal (U.S. Air Force), Darrell A. Floyd, Jr. (Glendra) of Douglasville, GA, Jovan Floyd of Atlanta, GA, Shannon Floyd of Columbus, GA, Joshua Trey Morgan of California, Michael Berry of Knoxville, TN and Abrial Johnson of Columbus, GA, great grandchildren, Jovanna Floyd of Columbus, GA, Toni Johnson of Columbus, GA and Giovanni Floyd and Gavin Floyd both of Douglasville, GA, and many other relatives and friends.
