Dorothy Helen McLaughlin Baker, 91, of Columbus, GA died Monday, May 17, 2021 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, May 20, 2021 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Mark Chandler officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery.
Dorothy was born September 3, 1929 in Columbus, GA to the late Ofus Evans McLaughlin and Grace Gordan McLaughlin. She was a nurse for over 30 years at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA. She was Baptist by faith and loved her family. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her brother and sisters.
She is survived by her children, Debbie Toney (David) of Columbus, GA, Britt Baker (Kim) of Columbus, GA, DeeJo Arnett of Columbus, GA, Becky Singletary (Randall) of Columbus, GA, 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren with one on the way, many nieces, nephews and other family members.
