PHENIX CITY, AL - Dorothy Marue Booker Dubberly, 77 of Phenix City died Saturday, May 8, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus.
Graveside services will be held 2 P.M., Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Ritch Baptist Church Cemetery, Screven, GA. with Rev. Gene Booker officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 till 8 PM at Colonial Funeral Home 613 14th St. Phenix City, AL 36867.
Mrs. Dubberly was born February 1, 1933 in Union Springs, AL daughter of the late Lila Vivian Garmon Booker and Robert Albert Booker. She worked for Sonar Electronics as a technician. She was a member of First Baptist Church in West Hollywood, FL and was a life time member and Chaplain of the VFW Post #5797. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph E. Dubberly and daughter Wanda Marie Shaw.
Survivors include a daughter Sandra Gray of Sale City, GA; a son Samuel C. Dubberly and wife Linda G. of Phenix City, AL; a sister Alice Bruner of Columbus, GA; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
