Doris Williams Lloyd, 78, of Columbus, GA died Monday, March 9, 2015 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 13, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel . Interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Lloyd was born May 2, 1936 in Opelika, AL daughter of the late Ernest W. Riddle and Mae Eunice Riddle. She was a homemaker. She loved to fish, garden and cook.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Rudolph Williams and James Lloyd, her son, Jarrell Wayne "Jerry" Williams and four brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen Jones (Clifford); sons, Tony P. Williams (Lydia) and Ricky A. Williams (Stacy) all of Columbus, GA; three brothers, William A. Riddle (Barbara) of LaGrange, GA, Purvis Riddle (Bonnie) of Opelika, AL, and Irvin Riddle (Nancy) of Titus, AL; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
