Donna Carol McDowell 57 of Columbus, Georgia passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Evergreen Memory Gardens 4500 St. Mary’s Road Columbus, Georgia 31907 with Rev. Tommy Fountain officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Donna was born February 22, 1964 in Columbus, Georgia daughter of the late Jerry T. and Linda Faye Gayles Evans. She was a graduate of Jordan High School and attended Columbus State University. Donna worked for Goodwill Industries for the past 30 years and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed crafts and shopping.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Gary M. McDowell of Columbus, Georgia, daughter, Chelsea Swed and her husband Andrew of Columbus, Georgia, brothers, Mark and Kenneth Evans and her beloved grandchildren Karlee and Brayden.
