Donna Diane Cooper 62, of Cusseta, Ga. died Friday, October 11, 2019 at Piedmont Columbus Regional.

Donna Diane Cooper was born April 4, 1957 to the late James Edward Hughes and Pauline Young Richardson. She was a CNA at Lila Doyle Nursing home for many years. She was a loving mom and grandmother. She loved her pet lizards Gundy, Nubs, and her dog Yona. She also loved her flowers and plants. Donna will be missed by everyone.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Marcus Anderson of South Carolina, and granddaughter, Elizabeth Marie Saunooke of Cherokee, North Carolina.
Survivors include her husband, Robert C. Cooper, Sr. of Cusseta, Ga., children, Stacey Diane Hornbuckle (Shawn Saunooke) of Cherokee, NC., Clifford Allen Hornbuckle( Korina) of Notasulga, AL., Krystal Lynn Battle(Joshua) of Lula, Ga., Kristen Elizabeth Day of Lula, Ga., Laura Breedlove(Shane) of Pine Mountain Valley, Ga., Robert Cooper, Jr.(Mehgan) of Manchester, Ga., sister, Barbara O'Kelley. Grandchildren, Brittany Saunooke, Joshua Saunooke, Christina Saunooke all of Cherokee, NC., Mulisha Swinmer of Cherokee, NC., Teria, Haylei Hornbuckle of Waynesville, NC., Micha, Gabriel, Madison, Mya Hornbuckle all of Notasulga, AL., Elijah, Liana Battle and Jaylan Sullivan all of Lula, Ga., Jonathan, Arianna, Ty, Brayden Day all of Lula, Ga., Hunter, Ashton, Gabriel Breedlove all of Pine Mountain Valley, Ga., Cambden Hyde, Kimberlynn, Arthur Cooper all of Manchester, Ga., Great Grandchildren Kaylon and Rialey Taylor all of Cherokee, NC., Nevach Saunooke of Cherokee, NC., other family members best friend, Sissy Arvin and Ken Arvin, Julia Hulbrooks (niece), Joseph Marcus(nephew) and Jason O'Kelley(nephew).
