Donald "Don" Joseph Jackson

Donald “Don” Joseph Jackson, 60, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown. A memorial service will be held 4:00 pm Sunday, January 31, 2021 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907, with Mark Blaxton officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Don was born September 30, 1960 in Columbus, GA to the late Harold and Brenda Kay Meadows Jackson. Don was a loving father, grandfather & brother. He coached his girls in softball their entire childhood throughout Columbus. He was an avid Alabama Fan. Don has impacted so many people in his life. He will be missed by so many.
Survivors include his children, David Jackson (Abbie) of Fortson, GA, Brenda Kay Pabon (Alex) of Columbus, GA, Sammie Jackson (Jocelyn) of Columbus, GA, Emily Jackson of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Ryder Jackson, Gabriella Pabon; sister, Amy J. Fleharty (Mike) of Waverly Hall, GA; former wife, Terri N. Jackson of Columbus, GA; step-daughter, Kimberly Stansell; nephews, Brandon McLendon of Columbus, GA, Matthew McLendon (Jan) of Phenix City, AL; and numerous other family members.
