Donald Lawrence Walker

It's with a heavy heart that the family would like to announce that on December 10th of 2022 Donald "Dondy" "Don" Lawrence Walker of Phenix City Alabama passed away peacefully at the age of 73 he was a beloved husband, stepfather, grandfather, brother, uncle and the most amazing friend. A Graveside Service will be held  Monday December 19th at the Ft Mitchell cemetery at 2pm

Don was born in Dallas, TX on January 7th, 1949 to his loving parents Othella & Lynn Walker.   Don served our country during the Vietnam War as a PFC (private first class)
Don was preceded and death by his beautiful wife of 37 years Patricia Marie Walker his mother Othella Walker and father Lynn Walker and his sister Dottie Dickson and Carol Parker.

We will all remember "Dondy" for his kindness, loving nature and all his silliness as well as his occasional stubbornness! He loved his wife Patricia Walker with all his heart & soul as well as her three children Johnny Ray, Dianne Lynn and Robert Lester . Don doded on his grandchildren as well not a day went by growing up that he wouldn't tell us how much he loved us and how proud he was to be our Papa "Don" .

He is survived in death by an Aunt, Cousins two brother in laws, 4 nieces and several great nieces and nephews in Texas as well as Dianne & Roy Spurlin, Trisha Lynn and Jeffery of Texas, Johnny Ray Moore, JJ Moore & Robert Moore of Phenix City Alabama.
