Dewey Wayne Parker of Columbus, GA, died at the age of 64 on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at The Medical Center from complications of surgery he underwent on August 18.
A private interment took place at Parkhill Cemetery on Saturday, September 11, 2010, followed by a farewell wake on Saturday night at the home of Steve and Monica Cayce. Local family members gathered graveside with out-of-town visitors on Sunday to share personal memories and selected readings in honor and acknowledgement of Deweyâ
