Dennis T. Slusser
March 3, 1944 — July 28, 2017
Mr. Dennis Slusser, 73, of Midland, GA, passed peacefully Friday, July 28, 2017 surrounded by his family with love and support.
The family will receive friends Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Columbus Hospice, 7020 Moon Rd., Columbus, GA 31909. Mr. Slusser donated his body to Mercer University to assist in teaching for medical research.
Mr. Slusser had a strong business acumen and the art for repairing almost anything. Dennis retired from PCI and prior to that he was the Vice President and General Manager for Califonia Amforge in Oak Brook, Illinois. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was an Assistant Scout Master for Troop 65 in Lockport, Illinois, Troop 49, in New Lenox, Illinois and Troop 107 in Columbus, Georgia.
Dennis was a wonderful husband, father and Papa. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Beverly; his son Scott and daughter-in-law, Jessica; his 2 grandsons Jack and Ryan; and his loyal dogs.
