Dennis W. "Boots" Foster, 60, of Phenix City, AL died Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at his home.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at his home according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Foster was born August 16, 1957 in Macon, GA son of the late Andrew Bruce Foster and Carrie Mae Burdette Simpson. He worked as the Lead Operator for Southern Phenix and he loved Alabama Football, cars, trucks, and enjoyed life. Mr. Foster was also an animal lover and was adored by all.
He was a survivor; however, he was called home to his eternal rest after a long, hard fought battle with cancer.
Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Crystal A. Foster, daughter, Mandy Brodka (Sean), son, Jason Foster, sisters, Carolyn Jennings (Henry) all of Phenix City, AL, Patricia Simpson of Columbus, GA, special niece, Angela Whitten, grandchildren, Tori Britt, Kolby Sutton, Zackary Foster and Gracey Sutton all of Phenix City, AL. He also leaves behind numerous other family and friends that were precious to him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the John B. Amos Cancer Center 1831 5th Ave. Columbus, GA 31901 or the East Alabama Humane Society 712 13th St. E. Phenix City, AL 36867.
