Dennis was born on January 12, 1946 to the late Annie May and Granvle Boozer in Jacksonville, AL. He graduated from Kubasaki High School in Okinawa, Japan and attended Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, AL. Dennis was a hard-worker throughout his life. He enlisted into the Air Force after high school, then worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Anniston, AL. He continued working for the federal government and worked for Anniston Army Depot in Anniston, AL for 18 years. In 1989, Dennis moved to Moultrie, GA and began working at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, GA where he retired from the federal government in 2001. If you know Dennis, you know that when he retired, he did not actually retire. He continued to enjoy working with close friends at the Colquitt County Sheriff's Department and Ice House America in Moultrie, GA. Even in his spare time he loved to volunteer for the Moultrie Rec. Department. Dennis had many hobbies but his favorites were watching Alabama Football and taking trips to Biloxi, Mississippi every chance he got. He had the best sense of humor and loved telling jokes to everyone he met. He never met a stranger.

Dennis was preceded in death by both parents, his brother Ken Boozer, a special nephew Ashley Mangham, and one special brother-in-law Chuck Mangham.

He is survived by his daughters who were his pride and joy, Michelle Boozer Morris (Scott) of Atlanta, GA, and Savannah Renae Boozer (Kalee) of Columbus, GA, two grandchildren, Matthew Morris and Trinity Blocker, sisters, Debbie Boozer and Freda Nichols of Melbourne, FL, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by former spouse and best friend Quenna Patrick and special friends who were like family, Hal and Debbie Suber.
