Dennis Hollis Albritton

Dennis Hollis Albritton, 69, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services with Navy honors will be held 2:00 PM Monday, March 27, 2023 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Bud Rupel officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. A private interment will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.
Mr. Albritton was born March 25, 1953 in Columbus, GA to the late Hinton Albritton and Earline Flowers Albritton. He served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years and retired as a Chief Torpedoman. He loved sports, he and his brother, David were big fans of the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves. They also enjoyed working on home improvement projects together.
Other than his parents Mr. Albritton is preceded in death by his twin brother, David Hinton Albritton.
He is survived by his son, Dennis Bryce Albritton, sister, Wanda Dean (Danny), sister-in-law, Kathy Albritton, nieces, Shana Young, Shelley Brown (Lucas), Ashley Pezold (John), Lindsey Sheldon (Wes) and favorite canine companion, “Milo”, as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the COPD Foundation or the Navy Safe Harbor Foundation.
