Denna Kaye MacPhail, 57, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Piedmont Midtown. A visitation will be held 10:00AM to 12:00PM Saturday,August 22, 2020 according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. A private funeral service will be held at a later date. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, facemasks and social distancing will be in effect.
Denna was born October 17, 1962 in Columbus, GA to the late Michael David Owen and Betty Jane Caudle Hart.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by, her sister, Donna Faye Owen, and stepfather, Frank Hart, Jr.
Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" MacPhail of Columbus, GA; daughters, Mendy Bourgeois (Mark) of Columbus, GA, Mandy Winningham (Bill) of Midland, GA; son, William MacPhail (Kristan) of Columbus, GA; siblings, Amy Alexander (Clay) of Harris County, GA, David Owen (Rhonda) of Columbus, GA, Janiece Smith (Charlie) of Marietta, GA, Gordon MacPhail (Pam) of MO, Annelie Reaves of Columbus, GA, Kate Jacobs (Mike) of NC; 11 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Denna was a loving wife and mother to three children, and an amazing Nana to her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
