Denise Belflower Davidson, a deeply cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away in her Waverly Hall, GA home on October 12, 2023, at the age of 67. Born on December 8, 1955, in Colorado Springs, CO, she was a beacon of love, joy, and resilience who touched the lives of all those fortunate enough to know her.

A visitation will be held 1:00-3:00 PM, Saturday, November 11, 2023 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Denise was the beloved daughter of the late WT Belflower and Eleanor Belflower. She is survived by her devoted husband of many years, Tim Davidson, her loving brothers Andrew and David Belflower, her proud daughters Shauna Gibson and Michelle Brackett, and her adoring grandsons Kanah Belflower and Kelton Brackett.

Denise pursued a comprehensive education in psychology, social work, and counseling—a testament to her lifelong dedication to understanding and helping others. Her intelligence and spirited nature were evident in her professional life as a teacher and counselor at the Roosevelt Warm Springs vocational rehabilitation. Her impact on the lives of her students and colleagues was immeasurable, and she was highly respected in her field.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Denise was also known for her vibrant interests and hobbies. She had a deep love for the outdoors, often found tending to her garden or fishing with her husband and their dog. She also enjoyed attending the Renaissance Festival with her daughters, a tradition that brought them much joy and laughter. Her interests were a reflection of her personality—funny, intelligent, and spirited.
