Delories Jean McMullen, 59, of Columbus, GA. , died Saturday Jan. 2, 2010 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010 at 11:00AM at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA. 31907, with interment in Parkhill Cemetery. Pastor Keith Taylor will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 :00 PM to 8:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home.
Mrs. McMullen was born in Elgin, AFB, Florida to the late Eugene Thomas and the late Minnie Slaughter. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, nana, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. We will always treasure our unforgettable memories with her and we will forever miss her presence with us, her smile, her humor and her knowledge on love and life.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Jimmy McMullen, Columbus, GA., two daughters Laura Brown (Ed), Columbus, GA., and Kristie McMullen, Columbus, GA., two sisters Shirley Moss, Columbus, GA., Sandy Byrd, of Phenix City, AL., and a brother Jerry Thomas, Phenix City, AL., Three granddaughters, Jessie Littleton, Shelby Brown and Skylar Brown, two grandsons, Tyler Littleton and Cody Brown, a niece Kayla Moss and two nephews David Byrd and Nick Moss.
