Delores Ida Anderson Meihack

Delores Ida Anderson Meihack, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Columbus Hospice at the age of 90.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, February 3, 2017 at Pine Lake Chapel 1159 West Pine Lake Dr. West Point, GA 31833 with Rev. Billy Ledbetter officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
De was born on February 5, 1926 in Hawley, MN. She retired after serving over 20 years in the Civil Service in 1986. She was a devout member of Pine Lake Church where she was the pianist for the last 39 years.
De was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Ida Anderson. Her husband, Harvey "Papa" Meihack, her brother-in-law, Eric, her brothers, Harold, Wallace, George and Gordon Anderson and half-brother, Leroy Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Michele Marie Pratt, sons-in-law, Peter Joseph Vitelli, Ronnie Rowe and grandson-in-law, Robby Harvey.
She is survived by her loving children, Pamela Ann Hurley (Lee) and Carol Jean Vitelli; grandchildren, Kelley (Paul) Hester, Clinton Silkey, Ronnie Vitelli, Scott (Susan) Pratt, and Amy Harvey. Great grandchildren, Maggie and Drake Vitelli, Austin and Amber Pratt, Haley and Cheyenne Harvey, Clinton, IV, Emma, Katrina and Amelia Silkey. Also many nieces and nephews.
