Debra "Debby" Faye Roberts Mcadory

Debra Faye Roberts McAdory (“Debby”) of Kingsland, GA, entered eternal rest on October 22, 2023, in Jacksonville, FL, surrounded by the love of her family.

A celebration of life will be held 3:00 PM, November 18, 2023, in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, Georgia. The visitation and service are open to all who would like to pay their respects.

Debby was a 1972 graduate of Kendrick High School in Columbus, Georgia; she began a career with the United States Government shortly thereafter. For over 37 years, she proudly served her country as a Federal Civilian Employee of both the US Army and US Navy, leaving a lasting impact on those she worked with and the nation she served. Debby enjoyed many things in life, but nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandson, Jax. Their moments together were her greatest source of fulfillment. She also loved family gatherings, especially the annual Roberts Family Reunion, and cherished the beauty of Fernandina Beach. Additionally, Debby enjoyed outdoor activities, listening to music, following NASCAR races, and supporting Auburn football. Her passion for living life to the fullest was evident in everything she did. Debby will be missed dearly by so many.

Debby is survived by her devoted husband of 21 years, Donnie; son, Chad (Melissa); and grandson, Jax. She is also survived by her brothers, Curt, Michael, Derek, and Eric Roberts; her sister, Vera Chrissy Roberts; a host of nieces and nephews; a bonus granddaughter; numerous cousins; and her dearest friend, Sonja—all of whom she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her loving parents Leonard Cortez Roberts and Betty Faye Roberts.
