Debra C. Sellers-Rocha, 55 of Columbus died Friday, April 5, 2013 at the Medical Center.
Graveside service with Military Honors will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 8, 2013 at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Rocha was born December 6, 1957 in Tokyo, Japan daughter of Gloria Peardot Sears of Columbus, GA and the late Earnest Sears. She was a U. S. Army veteran where she served as a Military Police Officer. After leaving military service she worked at civilian jobs until finding her passion for realty and property management. She worked for RP Investment Group as a Property Manager. She enjoyed finding and restoring old furniture with her mother. She also enjoyed cooking, baking and going fishing.
Other than her father she was preceded in death by her sister, Doreen Sears and brother, DuWayne Sears.
Survivors other than her mother include her husband, Francisco Rocha of Columbus, GA; son, Shawn Sellers and wife Brandy of Mauk, GA; grandchildren, Kayden and Lauren Sellers of Mauk, GA; brother, Darby Sears and nephew Curtis Sears both of Box Springs, GA.
