Debra Kennedy Osborn, affectionately known as “Debbie”, peacefully went to be with the Lord Jesus and her heavenly family January 4, 2025, in Columbus Georgia at the age of 70. Debbie was born on October 3, 1954, in Tarboro, North Carolina.

Debbie's life was characterized by her unwavering devotion to her family and her remarkable ability to make every person she met feel cherished.  Professionally, Debbie was a revered hard worker who excelled in different career fields throughout her life.  She is most well known for her success with Pampered Chef and Real Estate in the Columbus area.  Her colleagues will fondly remember her tenacity, innovative ideas, and her ability to connect with clients and coworkers alike.  Her passion in life was spending time at the beach.  The beaches of North and South Carolina had a special place in her heart.  She would often steal away at any opportunity to “put her toes in the sand.”  Debbie enjoyed every Christmas season where she immersed herself in the joy and traditions of the holiday. Her top priority was to make every Christmas special and to make sure everyone had a special gift. If you knew Debbie, you also knew of her lifelong love of her dogs, cats, and African Grey (bird) named Sampson. All had a special place in her heart and were a constant source of happiness.

Above all, Debbie's world revolved around her family. Her commitment to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for her loved ones was evident in the time she invested and the relationships she fostered. She will always be remembered for her sacrificial love for all her family.  Her guidance and love formed the cornerstone of her family's foundation. Her legacy will be her love for others, especially her family.

She is survived by her loving and supportive husband, Gregg Osborn, who stood by her side in every chapter of their shared life. Together, they celebrated the joys of life with unwavering partnership and love.  Her legacy continues through her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Kristan Ross, and her adored grandchildren, Kayla Turner (Tyler), Jacob Ross (Ansley), and Emma Ross. Debbie relished in the role of grandmother, and her influence will live on in the stories and memories she created with each of them. The family circle extends to her great-grandchildren, Blake Turner and Drew Turner.  Debbie is also survived by her sister, Robbin Lancaster, and her brother and sister-in-law, Frank Blake (Janet). Her extended family of nieces and nephews will remember her for her boundless energy and the care she took to be a part of their lives.  She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Robert and Evelyn Blake; her sisters Brenda McPherson and Ellen Blake.

Debbie had a strong love for the Lord, active in her church, and supported many local and international charities.  Through Jesus Christ, her fulfilled life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and the determination to make an impact on the world around her.  Her spirit, a beacon of joy and kindness, will continue to guide and inspire her family and friends.

As believers in Christ, we do not say goodbye to Debbie and look forward to the day when we will all be joined together in the throne room of Heaven.  But today, we celebrate the remarkable woman she was and the beautiful imprint she left on this world. Her story does not end with her passing but continues in the lives of those she loved. Her memory will be cherished and honored, and her presence deeply missed.

The family will receive friends at the McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA., Friday, January 10th, 10:00am.  Service begins at 11:00am.
