Deborah Dianne Creech, 58, of Columbus, GA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Columbus Hospice House following a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 16, 2014 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Chaplain Allison Owen officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery.
Dianne was born on September 26, 1956 in Columbus, GA , daughter of the late Robert Roland Egan and Ester Smythe Egan and was raised by her aunt/mom, Robbie S. Henson and uncle, the late Charles A. Henson. She attended Jordan High School and retired this year from Columbus Water Works following 18 years of service. Dianne loved cooking, crafts, gardening, line dancing and vacationing with family and friends.
Her memory will be forever cherished by her devoted husband, Robert L. Creech; daughter, Kelsey Dianne Creech; aunt, Robbie Henson; father-in-law, Frankie L. Creech; sisters-in-law, Lavelle Sellers (Keith) and Pattie Lumry; uncle, John Smythe; cousin, Shannon Cruzan: and several nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted, but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to Columbus Hospice House in Dianne's Memory, 7020 Moon Road Columbus, GA 31907.
