Dawn Renee Kibler, 48 of Columbus, Georgia died July 3, 2020 at Piedmont Midtown in Columbus, Georgia.
A Private Celebration of Life will be held 7:00 PM Sunday, July 12, 2020 at the Chattahoochee Valley Church of Christ with Rev. Buddy Jones officiating. A brief visitation will be held after the services according to McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus GA 31907. Guidelines set forth by the CDC and Governor Brian Kemp to maintain social distancing for those attending the service and visitation will be in effect.
Dawn was born May 2, 1972 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Leroy Lawrence Peters and Anna Louise Peters (Schroeder). After her enlistment in the U. S. Army she worked at St. Luke in the early learning center, was an assistant instructor of Early childhood education with Columbus Technical College and was a fitness instructor in Columbus Georgia. She was a great cook, an adventurous person who loved working out and especially loved her dogs. She was preceded in death by her son, Cody James Kibler, brother, Jerome Peters, and sister, Lori Peters.
She is loved and survived byher husband of 29 years, Roger Kibler of Midland, Georgia, daughter, Lauren Rae Kibler of Midland, Georgia, son, Maximus William Kibler of Midland, Georgia, brother, Terry Peters of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, Sue Peters of Madison, Wisconsin, brother Lee Peters of Windsor, Wisconsin, brother, James Peters of Madison, Wisconsin, brother Tom Peters of Frankfurt, Germany, and her beloved dogs Tucker, Ranger and Bella.
