David Michael "Mike" Sizemore, 63, of Ellerslie, GA died Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Cornerstone Baptist Church 16117 GA-315 Ellerslie, GA 31807 with Dr. Tommy Henschel and Rev. Lee Snow officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Sizemore was born July 1, 1955 in Hamilton, GA son of the late David C. Sizemore and Vivian Ginn Sizemore. He worked in the gas business for 42 years and most recently worked as the Service Manager at Green Propane for 11 years.
He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Ellerslie, GA and loved hotrods, hunting, fishing, going to the beach and spending time with family.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Cindy Lipp Sizemore of Ellerslie, GA, daughter, Morgan Chambiss (Michael) of Cataula, GA, son, Michael Sizemore (Katie) of Ellerslie, GA, sisters, Pat Oliver (Wayne) of Ellerslie, GA, Faye Mock (Lee) of Hamilton, GA and Linda Carroll of Newnan, GA, grandchildren, Lyndee and Ellie Sizemore, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to Cornerstone Baptist Church c/o Courtney's Promise at www.cornerstonega.org.
