David Paul Phillips

David Paul Phillips, age 66, of Columbus, Georgia passed away Friday morning of March 10, 2023 at Columbus Hospice.

The family has requested friends and family to visit their residence from March 11, 2023 to March 17, 2023 according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

David Phillips was born May 27, 1956, in Aschaffenburg, Germany to his father, Edward Harrison Phillips and his mother Mary Ellis Phillips. He was a engineer out at Pratt and Whitney as well as several other well-known companies. He ran a computer business for several years, where he would fix businesses and people’s personal computers. David enjoyed several hobbies such as reading, sketching up blueprints, spending time with his four cats, and shooting the cross bow. He enjoyed making people laugh and putting a smile on people’s faces around him, even in the toughest times.

David Phillips is survived by his wife, Patty Williams Phillips, of Columbus GA, Brother, Joe Phillips of Valley, AL, Granddaughter, Anastasia Celeste Kyle, of Columbus, GA, Grandson Paul Bryant Harrington of Salem, AL, Mother in Law, Sara Louise Williams, of Columbus GA, Sister in law, Fay Mcnabb of Columbus, GA. David is Preceded in death by his oldest daughter Tonya Marie Harrington Phillips, and youngest daughter Kimberly Fay Phillips.
