David Kelly Dockery

David Kelly Dockery, born August 10 1960, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022, unexpectedly at his home in Columbus, GA after a long illness at the age of 61. A memorial service for family and friends will be announced at a later date
David was a well known figure in the Columbus music and arts scene, and was beloved by all. David worked for many years at Columbus Carpet Mills and for the City of Columbus,
and was retired at the time of his passing.
David is survived by his brother Will Dockery and was a proud Uncle to Will's children and grandchildren: daughter, Sarah Dockery Milam, her husband Dustin and their children Dylan and Emma Lynn, and two nephews, Will's sons William Clayton Dockery and Joseph Allen Stout. David was predeceased by his parents, Kelly Henry Dockery and Mildred
Whitley Dockery Sprouse.
