David Alan Holland, 54, of Columbus, GA died Monday, September 21, 2015 at Midtown Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 25, 2015 at Grace Baptist Church 2915 14th Ave. Columbus, GA 31904 with Pastor Brian Allison officiating. A private interment will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the church according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
David was born October 21, 1960 in Klamath Falls, OR son of Elger Hall Holland, Jr. (Joyce) of Upatoi, GA and Wanda Sue Morace Holland of Columbus, GA. He was a graduate of Jordan High School, attended Liberty University, and graduated from Columbus State University. David was a U.S. Army Veteran and worked as a correctional officer for the State of Georgia and loved photography.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Holland.
Survivors other than his parents include his sister, Teresa Holland of Columbus, GA, step-brothers, Scott Cramer (Robin) of Columbus, GA, Christopher Cramer (Amy) of Smiths, AL and Grant Cramer (Amanda) of Cataula, GA, step-sisters, Donna Carter (Truman) of Midland, GA and Dana Reynolds (Mike) of Columbus, GA, and a number of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to your favorite charity.
