David Allen Eckstein
February 4, 1962 — September 19, 2021
David Allen Eckstein, 59, of Columbus, GA passed away peacefully at Columbus Specialty Hospital with his family by his side on September 19, 2021. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, September 24, 2021 at Parkhill Cemetery, according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
David was born February 4, 1962 in Chinon, France, son of the late Herman Eckstein and Virginia Koelzer Eckstein. David graduated from Hardaway High School. He served a short time in the Army Reserves after graduating high school and held various jobs during his lifetime.
Survivors include his siblings, Anna Rulon (David) of Columbus, GA, Valerie Bowden (Peter) Columbus, GA, Paul Eckstein of Columbus, GA, William Eckstein (Cathy) of Columbus, GA, Thomas Eckstein (Sandy) of Columbus, GA; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family greatly appreciates the loving care provided to David by the Columbus Specialty Hospital staff.
