David Paul Conway, "Uncle Buck", 58, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, Friday January 17, 2014 at McMullen Funeral Home's Magnolia Room, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 for visitation, fellowship and prayer
Mr. Conway was born June 19, 1955 in Stuttgart, Germany son of Robbie Lee Phenix Conway and the late Grover Paul Conway. He was the Deputy Project Manager for Wolverine Service, LCC at Fort Benning, GA. He was a devoted son, brother, father, grandfather, and uncle.
David spent many years in Southeast Missouri where he co-owned a towing business and worked as a volunteer firefighter. One of his greatest joys was helping people in need.
Survivors other than his mother include his daughter, Amanda Lutes (Chris) of Marble Hill, MO; sisters, Ginger Perry (Verlin), of Columbus, GA, Vickie Milligan (Travis) of Cusseta, GA, and Belinda McGahee (Stan) of Columbus, GA; seven grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He is also survived by his special friend, Caty Allen and her two children. David will be missed by all.
