David E. Brown, 58, of Columbus, GA, died December 14, 2014 at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Reverend Don Hutchens officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, December 16, 2014 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Brown was born on January 4, 1956 in Columbus, GA, son of the late Bobby Brown and his mother DeAnne Brown of Columbus, Ga. He was the ultimate Auburn fan as evidenced by "The streak" of 360 consecutive Auburn football games, his commitment to Auburn gymnastics and Auburn University men and women's basketball team. He will be forever known by his Auburn family as "Hot Damn Dave."
Survivors other than his mother include his high school sweetheart and wife of 36 years, Teresa Brown of Columbus, GA; sister, Lori Davis of Fortson, GA; brother, Matt Citrin of Columbus, GA; nephew, Brian Davis of Columbus, GA; and his Auburn family and Georgia Crown family.
