Daryl E. Arroyo

Daryl E. Arroyo, 60, of Midland, GA passed Monday, September 20, 2021 surrounded by his family in the comfort of his residence.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Friday, September 24, 2021 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with officiate Scott Donohoe. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus Ga 31907.

Daryl was born September 13, 1961 in Wurzburg, Germany after which he split his childhood between Fairbanks, Alaska and Columbus, Georgia. He recently retired from Toms Food after 42 years of employment. He enjoyed playing golf, watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Georgia Bulldogs, listening to music, and going to the gym. He loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed taking weekend trips.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Malissa Arroyo of Midland, GA, children; Angelina Waters (Jake) of Clarksville, TN, Erika Arroyo of Atlanta, GA, DJ Arroyo (Lindsay) of Columbus, GA, Iliza Arroyo of Columbus, GA, Expected Grandson, Maverick Hudson Waters, Father, Jesse Arroyo (Sarah) of Salem, AL, Mother, Wilma L. Perkins of Phenix City, AL, sister, Cheryl Franklin (Tim) of Phenix City, AL and his nephew, Johnathan Murphy.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Daryl fought bravely and would like to give others the opportunity to do so as well.
