Daniel Roe Ragan, 35, of Cataula, GA died Monday, May 28, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 1, 2018 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Jimmy McIlrath officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service according to the funeral home.
Daniel was born March 7, 1983 in Columbus, GA son of Wayne Jeffery Ragan and Veronica Sue Scoggins Ragan of Columbus, GA. He was the Director of IT at Columbus Technical College, and enjoyed playing golf, Florida State and 49ers Football, and Braves baseball. Daniel also loved the beach, skiing and playing with his kids.
He was preceded in death by his two grandfathers and beloved dog, "Bentley".
Other than his parents, he is survived by his wife of 11 years, Lacey Revell Ragan, daughters, Lily Rebecca Ragan and Stella Roe Ragan all of Cataula, GA., sister, Laurie Ragan Cugino (Michael) of Colorado Springs, CO., brother, Jeff Ragan (Patricia) of Columbus, GA., maternal grandmother, Mary Ruth Dove, paternal grandmother, Avis Ragan both of Columbus, GA., nieces, Isabella Cugino and Nadia Ragan, nephews, Ethan Ragan, Mac Cugino, Eli Walden and Mason Walden, and many aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Ragan Family Savings in c/o Lacey Ragan at SunTrust Bank.
