Dale R. Worsham, 87, Box Springs, GA passed away on November 21, 2023 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 28, 2023 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. David Chapman officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Monday, November 27, 2023 at The funeral Home. Interment will be held at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery following the service at 1:30 PM. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Dale was born September 10, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY daughter of the late Richard and Clara Coleman. She served as City Clerk of Geneva, GA. She was active with the Box Springs Volunteer Fire Department for 25 years. Dale was a member of New Providence Baptist Church of Buena Vista, GA. She was also an active parent volunteer working many concession stand hours while her four children were playing the different sports in Ocean Springs, MS for 10 years. Dale also worked as teacher for the 3-year-old class at the Christus Victor Lutheran Church in Ocean Springs, MS for almost 6 years. She loved watching college football and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband of 55 years, Robert E. Worsham (Gene).
Survivors include her sons, Mark Worsham (Lee) of Ocean Springs, MS, Scott Worsham of Lebanon, Illinois, daughters, Gayle Fuller (Jeff) of Box Springs, GA , Faye Brown (Donald) of Salem, AL, brother, Don Coleman (Peggy) of Five Points, AL, sister, Joyce McLendon of Locust Grove, GA, grandchildren, Carolyn Gilmer (Brad), Kristian Havard, Amanda Edwards (Josh), Caleb Worsham (Kelsi), Tempa Beck (Dan), Trevor Worsham (Emily), Shelby Atkins (James), Tommy Wilbourn, Tyler Wilbourn (Kailee), Haydn Havard (Marissa), Alissa Brown, JJ Fuller, Gracyn Worsham and McKenna Buckingham, great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Cardin, Tinley, Cooper, Connor, Harrison, McKena, Dean, Maeve, many extended family and friends.
