Cynthia Chastain Wade, 64 of Columbus, Georgia died Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Piedmont Columbus Regional North Campus.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Speer officiating. The family will receive friends following the services at the church.
Cynthia was born May 09, 1958 in Columbus, Georgia daughter of the late Jesse Maurice Chastain, Sr. and Edna Dorothy May Chastain. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church and worked for Burnham Service Corporation as dispatcher for 17 years and was the current office manager for Two- Men and a Truck.
Cynthia loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, baking and traveling with her husband of 34 years. Cynthia was a service orientated person. She loved volunteering at her church where she put others before herself.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Gary Richard "Rick" Wade of Columbus, Georgia; children, Madeline Blair Wade (Daniel) of Midland, Georgia, Richard Chastain “Chase” Wade of Columbus, Georgia; siblings, Jesse Maurice Chastain, Jr. (Janis) of Duluth, Georgia, Marcia Humphreys (Jim) of Euharlee, Georgia and three grandchildren; Henry Wade Miller, Jonah Daniel Miller, Cohen Reed Miller, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members that she loved and cherished.
