Cynthia Ann Osbon

Cynthia Ann Osbon, 70 of Columbus, GA died Saturday, August 10, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus.

Her family will have a service/visitation the evening of Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 6:00 till 7:00 at McMullen Funeral Home and Cremation, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Ed Rollins officiating. A private interment will be at Parkhill Cemetery.

Cindy was born March 31, 1954 in Columbus, GA to the late Worthey E. Osbon and Flora Bernice Culpepper Osbon. She graduated from Jordan Vocational High School where she played in the “Red Jacket Marching Band”.  When they were younger, she played piano with her sister Gail and later she enjoyed playing the guitar.  Her “bubbas”, Bobby, Clint and Earl;as brothers do, loved her fiercely and as most brothers do protected her throughout her life. In the last 15 years of her mother’s life she was the live in caregiver and was beloved by her sister and brothers.

Cindy had such a free spirit about her and was the kindest, most loving soul.  She was loved by and will be missed by so many. Cindy had a mischievousness about her that endeared her to her nieces and nephews; and all that knew her.  She loved us all fiercely and unconditionally with a heart as big as the world.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Earl W. Osbon, Sr. Survivors include her brothers: Bobby Osbon, Sr. of Columbus, GA, Clint Osbon, Sr. (Carolyn) of Midland, GA, sister: Gail Warren (LJ) of Fortson, GA and ten nieces and nephews and their spouses and significant others. She also had many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
