Cynthia Patricia McQuaig Goodman, 77, of Columbus, GA died Friday, November 4, 2016 at Columbus Hospice House.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 7, 2016 at Parkhill Cemetery 4161 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Chaplain Allison Owen officiating. The following will serve as Honorary Pallbearers: T.W. Cummings, Sr., Cecil Snell, Ron Snell, Thomas Wesley Cummings, Jr., Darren Cummings, Michael Cummings, and Parks Warren according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Ms. Goodman was born November 21, 1938 in Bonaire, AL daughter of the late Michael Neal McQuaig and Ella Estelle Lytton McQuaig. She worked as the Office Manager for the Civil Service.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Geoffrey V. Sanford, sister, Helen Elizabeth Cummings, brother-in-law, T.W. Cummings, Sr., and brother, George Thomas McQuaig.
Survivors include her son, Steven Sanford (Rena Jean) of Columbus, GA, sister, Judy Ann Snell (Cecil) of Newnan, GA, granddaughter, Dr. Kristina Jean Sanford of Columbus, GA, and nephews and nieces, Mike McQuaig, Paul McQuaig, Wesley Cummings, Jr., Darren Cummings, Dana Cummings Klemontovich, Michael Cummings, Ronald L. Snell, and Susan Snell Warren.
