Cumi E. Shavers 70 of Columbus died Wednesday June 09, 2010 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
Emory Evans officiating. The family will receive friends following the services at McMullen Funeral
Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus.
Mrs. Shavers was born December 15, 1939 in Coffee County, Ala. daughter of the late Woodrow C.
And Willie B. Floyd Ellis. She was a homemaker and attended Faith Temple Penacostal Church and
was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Bernard Shavers; son Victor W. Shavers; and grandson
Brian Casey Clausen.
Survivors include her daughter Debbie Clausen and son-in-law Claude of Columbus Ga. one sister
Cubie Dean Ellis Cosby of Phenix City, Al. two brothers W.C. Ellis of Columbus, Ga. and Jimmy Ray
Ellis of Phenix City, Al. one grandson Christopher John Clausen and wife Sara of Columbus, Ga. and numerous other family members.
