It is with great sadness that the family and wife of Cristian Yesid Urquijo Vanstrahlengs, announces his passing after a brief illness on April 29, 2018 at the age of 32 years.
Funeral services in memory of Cristian will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, May 5, 2018 at McMullen Funeral Home & Crematory 3874 Gentian Boulevard, Columbus Georgia 31907. The family will receive friends following the services at the funeral home.
Cristian was born in Barranquilla- Colombia on December 16, 1985 to Jaime Alberto Urquijo and Piedad Vanstrahlengs. He graduated from the Corporation Institute of Arts and Sciences CIAC with a degree in Computer Analyst Programmer in 2004 and worked as a Quality Inspector for Pratt and Whitney for 5 years.
Cristian will be lovingly remembered by his wife Diana Marcela Velazco Salazar and his son Nicolas Urquijo Velazco. Cristian is survived by his parents and he is predeceased by his brothers, Jaime Urquijo, Luis Urquijo, Harold Urquijo and sister, Piedad Urquijo.
He was a devoted father, lovely husband a wonderful brother and friend.
