Cory Pylant, 46, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Hank Reeves officiating. A private entombment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Cory was born September 11, 1969 in Ft. Benning, GA son of Betty Furlow Pylant of Columbus, GA and the late Bobby Pylant. He was employed at McDonald's and was a member of Glenn Anthony Baptist Church. Cory loved life and touched the lives of many people.
Other than his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Anges.
Survivors other than his mother include his brother, Michael Pylant (Carol) of Hamilton, GA, sister, Linda O'Neal (Tommy) of Columbus, GA, and niece and nephew, Amber Pylant and Mickey Pylant.
