Compton Vernon Bullard, 85, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Vista Care at Franciscan Woods.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Evergreen Memory Gardens 4400 Saint Mary's Rd. Columbus, GA 31907 according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Bullard was born April 5, 1926 in Miami, FL son of the late Thomas Compton Bullard and Mary Myrtle Grant Bullard Tuck. He worked as a Machinist for Sunshine Biscuits and was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his sisters, Ruby Culverson of Columbus, GA and Shirley McKnight of Columbus, GA, son, Johnny Bullard of Columbus, GA, grandsons, John Bullard of Columbus, GA and Cary McKinney of Texas, granddaughters, Lindy Ross of Checkamauga, GA and Libby McKinney of Texas, stepson, Murray McKinney of Texas, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations may be made to Vista Care Hospice 2425 Williams Rd. Columbus, GA 31909.
