A Proud alumnus of Auburn University, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree and carried the spirit of his Alma Mater throughout his life. He was a lifelong member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. His commitment to education was matched only by his dedication to his faith as a lifelong member of St. Paul Methodist Church. There, he found a second family and served with a heart full of grace and generosity.

Those who knew Trey will remember him as a man of integrity, kindness, and a man of which we should all try to be like. His legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to cross paths with. Trey will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will remain a guiding light in the hearts of many.

Trey was very active with Columbus Jaycees and held the title of President. He was honored by his chapter with a nomination to the Georgia Jaycee Rebel Corps (Honor Corps) now. He held many positions but his proudest moment was he was elected Commander. He served from 1998-1999. He was Colonel #1920 and he was honored as a Georgia JCI Senator as well.

He worked at the family business Muscogee Iron Works along with his Father and Grand Father for many years. In 1999 He started his new career as a commercial real estate agent at Coldwell Banker-Kennon Parker Duncan & Davis. He held the position of manager commercial office until 2022. He was a member of the Muscogee County Republican Party for over 10 years and served as the treasurer.

Trey and Sherri met while both were in the Jaycees together. Trey was a Columbus Jaycee and Sherri was an Augusta Jaycee. When he was commander he asked Sherri to be his date to attend a cocktail party and they were together from that point on.
