Clemis E. Prather

Clemis “Clem” E. Prather, 71, of Smith Station, AL died Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Piedmont Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, January 9, 2023 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Timms and Rev. Joel Snell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in Phenix City, AL.
Clem was born on July 1, 1951 to the late Rossie J. Prather and Oleain Worley Prather. He was a production worker for Uniroyal Company and he also loved to coach little league baseball. Clem never met a stranger in his life; he was a funny person to be around and could cook the best southern food.
Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Diane Prather and brother, Lavon Prather.
He is survived by his daughters, Angela Griffin of Columbus, GA, Sarah Prather of Columbus, GA, son, Chris Prather (Liz Miller) of Pine Mountain, GA, brothers, Ed Prather (Mary) of Columbus, GA, Doug Prather (Connie) of Salem, AL, Randy Prather (Teresa) of Columbus, GA, One granddaughter, Lucienna Prather and numerous of nieces and nephews .
