Clarence William Gallops, 63, of Ellerslie, GA, died Sunday, November 30, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 4, 2014 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Udell Addison officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday morning from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Mr. Gallops was born March 24, 1951 in Columbus, GA, son of the late George Calvin Gallops and Mary Allen Brown Gallops. He was a member of the Columbus Umpire Association, All American Toastmaster's Association, and was president of Willow Beach Homeowners Association. Mr. Gallops was a Baptist by Faith and served as a pastor and associate pastor for several local Baptist Churches and was the owner of Gallops Insurance Agency.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda J. Gallops of Ellerslie, GA; sister, Betty Jean Minard (Robert) of Box Springs, GA; nieces, Deborah and Charity; nephew, Shane; mother and father-in-law, William and Jean Corcoran of Columbus, GA; brother-in-law, Billy Corcoran (Bibi) of Phenix City, AL; sister-in-law, Cathi Dinkins (Russell) of Fortson, GA; his beloved dog, Max; and a host of other relatives.
