Clare Rodrigue Marks

Clare R. Marks, 90, of Columbus, GA died at Magnolia Manor on Wednesday, October 28, 2015.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, October 31, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Reverend Mitch Huling officiating. A private interment will be held at Andersonville National Cemetery. Family will receive friends Saturday prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Marks was born December 21, 1924 in Homer, LA to the late Phildon and Aurelia Rodrigue. Clare loved talking about Jesus and sharing her faith. She was a Sunday school teacher, Awanas teacher, and child evangelism was dear to her heart.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Deane Edward Marks.
Survivors include her daughters, Candace Martin of WI and Vanessa Marks Burnham (Peter) of Waverly Hall, GA, sons, Deane Edward Marks, Jr. of WI and Scott Marks (Adele) of Freedom, PA, sister, Peggy Semmes of TX, brother, John Rodrigue of Las Vegas, NV, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great great grandson.
