Clara Kunigunda Thompson, 79, of Columbus, GA. died Friday, November 28, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, December 1, 2014 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907. The family wlll receive friends following the service.
Mrs, Thompson was born March 26, 1935 in Kitzengen, Germany. She retired as a legal secretary for Thomas L. Thompson, Attorney at Law. Mrs. Thompson was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, a charter member of the Harris County American Business Women's Association and a member of the Elks Club and the Columbus German Club. She dearly loved her pets.
Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband Thomas L. Thompson, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, D. Alexandria Woodward and her husband Henry T. Woodward III; two grandchildren, Henry Thomas Woodward IV and Alyssa Thompson Woodward, both of Columbus, GA; one sister, Emma Corns of Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.
