Christopher "Chris" Scott Parker, 42, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, November 11, 2009.
Memorial services will be held Friday at 2 PM at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Reverend Vernon Prather officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.
Mr. Parker was born June 4, 1967 son of Jimmy R. Parker and Linda Josephson. He was a machinist, working in auto body repair.
He is survived by his father, Jimmy Parker (Sandra) of Columbus, GA and his mother, Linda Josephson of Columbus, GA, his brother, Dan Parker of Salem, AL, his sister, Gigi Weldon of Birmingham, AL, nephew, Grant Weldon of Birmingham, AL, maternal grandmother, Mary Holladay of Oklahoma City, OK, paternal grandfather, James Parker of Oklahoma City, OK, aunts, Brenda Hyneman (Marty) of Columbus, GA and Sandy Chambers (Fred) of Oklahoma City, OK, and his uncle, Nick Holladay of Oklahoma City, OK.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Muscogee County Humane Society 4900 Milgen Rd. Columbus, GA 31907.
